Do you want to make a difference in a kid’s future?

Are you able to invest your time once or twice a month?

If so, the Sumner-Bonney Lake Education Foundation is interested in you!


The Board meets monthly in Sumner, with some follow-up questions or information distributed by email. Because of the nature of the matters to be discussed, members will need to sign a confidentiality agreement. We are interested in recruiting new members who have financial experience or legal training. Although membership of the Board is on an unpaid basis, out-of-pocket expenses associated with Board business are reimbursed.

The Sumner-Bonney Lake Education Foundation is operated by a volunteer board of directors. Composed of community and business leaders, the group manages the Foundation’s investments, raises funds to provide additional financial resources, selects grant recipients and awards scholarships.
